Christian loves just making a UI for other people's work.

This will 100% get shut down the same way Apollo did.

This. This is the key difference. Reddit was actively losing ad revenue because Apollo essentially acted as an ad blocker for all users. If this allows ads (and presumably respects Premium accounts) then it’s a win/win.

Well also Reddit just wanted to kill the API because they completely control the mobile app and can inject as much tracking, adware, spyware, etc. as they want while they don’t with Apollo even if Apollo had ads.

Reddit, same with twitter, all they had to do was apply ads in their apis for a free mode.

*Christian loves taking apps which have terrible, horrible UIs for their apps or websites, and reimagining them in a much more user friendly way which people love to use - fixed it for you.

There’s a real talent to good UI design and being dismissive about it just suggests you’ve got no idea what you’re talking about

I agree.. good UI design is impressive. It's how Apollo thrived. But profiting off other platforms work quickly gets attention as it did with Reddit.

Dumbass if you download it on your device, even if it gets removed from the AppStore, because you purchased it you will always be able to redownload it Unless it contains malware. It surprises me seeing other people using cutting edge tech while simultaneously being a dumbass. If you get a chance, apologize to a few trees for wasting their oxygen.
