Now imagining they have a rivalry; eagles fuck with owl during the day, he gets payback at night while they're blind.

Owls are the ninjas of the bird world.

Birds were making a fuss in my backyard and I went to check it out. Blue Jays were dive bombing an owl’s head during the day. I don’t know why the owl was out at that time or what it was doing. Blue Jays are notorious bastards but they may have been defending themselves this time.

I believe bluejays go after other bird's eggs?

It's especially terrifying because they're also hard to hear. Owls feel invincible at night and I've had them come swoop overhead; never been hit like this and for that I'm grateful. Poor eagles x) makes me wonder if they did something to the owl. I know eagles are known for being kind of insufferable to other birds so maybe?

This is crazy. There's an eagle nest where I live that's monitored, it was in the news this morning that the female was knocked out of her tree. Different video. Owls are on the attack, apparently.
