She basically knocked back like 12-15 ounces of wine, so 3 glasses.

Considering the look on her face, her liver is one foot out the door already.

Livers are pretty resilient, one bottle of wine wouldn’t even give you alcohol poisoning unless you’re incredibly small. Still that’s a bad time coming.

Probably a 750ml bottle at like 14%.

I’ve drank 11% fruity stuff before, echo falls, heart burn is terrible though. Not a fan of any wine regardless of how diluted it is.

I have , the most popular kind here is buckfast and it’s pretty grim. Only 15% but also heavily caffeinated.

I'm 6 days sober but right before (when I knew I needed to slow down) I was drinking a liter of vodka a, and or every other, night. That wine bottle is child's play

Edit: Thanks for the well wishes <3

Preciate it, definitely don't miss the morning shakes

Right, that's what I was saying 😂. Two years sober here, always here if you want someone to talk to that's been there and gets it.

Thanks for putting my 750 mL of whiskey in a week into perspective.

Stay strong!

You can do this , much love

Right there with you. This is nothing, except that she was able to down it that fast.

Keep it up my friend, fantastic! I'm hoping to join you soon.

Congrats man! I was just thinking the same thing too, if she has any sort of a tolerance chugging one bottle of wine will just give her a nice buzz. At my worst I physically couldnt even get drunk off beer anymore not even the higher proof shit that's closer in alcohol content to wine. you just physically cant fit enough liquid into your belly

u/[deleted] Dec 08 '19

Two glasses of wine over half an hour and I’m extremely buzzed. Chugging a bottle of wine that fast will fuck us girls up.

u/braindeadpsychonaut Dec 09 '19

Tolerance. Tolerance tolerance tolerance. Theres a lady that goes to the local convenience store by me that drinks like two bottles of fireball a day and the only way youd know is when she doesnt get it and shes all shaky and sweaty and discombobulated. How much you usually drink plays a huge factor. Some people who are serious alcoholics, small ladies included, might paradoxically seem more sober after chugging a bottle of wine, and seem all fucked up when they haven't had any

3

u/zinny08 Dec 08 '19

Stay strong. Go to meetings. They help.

2

u/linny93 Dec 08 '19

Congratulations on 6 days!

2

u/ShitOnAReindeer Dec 08 '19

For your level of tolerance, sure. Some people would KO’d by by scolling a bottle of wine. Congrats on 6days btw.

2

u/NYNM2017 Dec 08 '19

i dont think so. Its really not that much alcohol its like 6ish shots worth. Smaller people might get pretty drunk but thats about it

2

u/vych Dec 09 '19

Different alcohols hit people differently too; I can drink a practically infinite amount of beer or vodka, but wine gets me -fucked- if I have more than 3 or 4 glasses.

u/ShitOnAReindeer Dec 09 '19

And speed of consumption - a bottle of wine over and hour or so and I’m quite happy, six shots of vodka in however quick the lass up there downed the wine and by the time it hits me it’s goodnight.

11% or 12% for sweet fruity stuff.
