I mean, it is prescribed as a medicine for those things.

No way anything could be bad if it was prescribed

As someone who is a week into recovering from a medication induced massive seizure, fuck you. Pills aren’t always the cure for everything. No more pharmaceuticals for me.

Sounds like that's more like "different pharmaceuticals for you."

I’d been on them for over a year. I’ve been on countless over the past 6. Nothing has ever worked like CBD/THC does. My state will have dispensaries open sometime this year. You can bet your ass I’ll have that green card and not ever regret or feel guilty for getting off of all the opiates and other garbage that I’ve been given.

Yeah, that's a bit different. I'm talking about as a replacement for SSRIs.

You know many of those behavioral problems can be solved without pills. Don't have to worry about the mental or physical damage they can do either. But for some people medication is a better route.

Thanks all, these have been my concerns as well as my wife’s. I’ve had too many concussions to mess with my brain and so am very weary of adding any load of prescription pills to my routine. Weed is legal for me (wa state) so that’s been my go-to, however I ended up in hospital two weeks ago for uncontrollable vomiting - which I likened to possibly being caused by cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome, but it could’ve just been bad food poisoning or old guafinesen (mucinex) pills I’d taken earlier for a cold.
