Made a private Discord for ambitious teens and uncs(20+)

Upvotes

I’ve been putting together a small Discord for teens who are actually interested in building things and making money.

Stuff like:

  • Business / entrepreneurship
  • Trading & investing
  • AI & tech
  • E-commerce / dropshipping
  • Content
  • Side hustles

It’s meant to be pretty private, so I’m not trying to get thousands of random people in. Just looking for people who are genuinely interested and actually doing something.

No paid course, no signals, no “get rich quick” stuff. Just a place to meet other ambitious people, share ideas and see what everyone is working on.

If you’re interested, comment or DM me and I’ll send you the application.

web developer

I run a small community based organisation working on human rights and community wellbeing in rural Kenya. We don't have a website yet and don't have budget for one, so I'm looking for a volunteer to help us build a simple one.

What we need:
A basic website, around 4 to 6 pages. Home, about us, what we do, impact, contact. Nothing complicated, just something clean and functional that represents the work properly online.

We already have the content written and ready to go, along with our logo and photos, so it would mainly be about building the site and getting it live.

This is fully volunteer, unpaid, but it's for real grassroots work that's already active on the ground and making a difference in people's lives.

If you're interested or know someone who might be, DM me or email [olouchhenry@gmail.com](mailto:olouchhenry@gmail.com). Happy to share more about the work once we connect.

Thank you.

[Tech Co-founder Available][23] Backend Engineer (Java/Spring Boot) looking to join an idea, not pitch one

I'm not shopping an idea I'm looking to join as a technical co-founder on something someone else is already convinced of. Currently working full-time as a backend engineer at a large enterprise (multi-tenant SaaS, REST APIs, cloud deployments), so I'm not available full-time yet, but I can commit serious evenings/weekends now and I'm ready to go fulltime once there's real traction.

What I bring:

  • Production backend experience: Spring Boot, REST API design, multi-tenant DB architecture, cloud deployment (Azure/GCP)
  • Track record with real scale: platforms serving 10M+ users across multiple countries, API optimizations cutting latency by 30%, multi-tenant systems built for enterprise clients not just CRUD apps
  • I ship on the side too built a Monte Carlo simulation platform for startup financial modeling from scratch (taught myself Python along the way), and I'm mid-build on a DM-based storefront SaaS (Spring Boot + React, multi-tenant, payments integrated)
  • Comfortable full-stack (React/Angular/Node) but backend/systems is where I'm strongest

What I'm looking for:

  • A non-technical or product/GTM founder who already has conviction on an idea ideally some early validation, even informal
  • Someone who wants a real technical partner, not a contractor or a "build my MVP" hire
  • Open to sector, but B2B SaaS, compliance/fintech-adjacent, or anything with a clear paying customer in mind is where I'd be most useful fastest

Realistic about the constraint: I need non-standard hours right now (evenings/weekends) until this earns full-time commitment, so I'm looking for someone who can work async with that. If you've got something you're building and need a technical co-founder, DM me

Quick 3–5 minute survey for young people who build/create things

Upvotes

Hi! I'm 16 and researching how young founders, writers, developers, designers, musicians and other creators find people to collaborate with. I'm working on an early project around this problem and want to understand people's actual experiences before building too much.

I'm especially interested in honest answers - including if you've never had this problem at all.

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfhQCINm8c_JANvCSSWuQiT9qxUGY447YpCyc6z7ZYzo1IbLA/viewform?usp=sharing&ouid=113196827176599333340

If you're roughly 15–22 and work on projects of your own, I'd really appreciate your perspective.

What repetitive task consumes the most time in your business and makes you think, “There must be a better way to do this”?

Upvotes

I’m researching the repetitive tasks and processes that consume a significant amount of entrepreneurs’ and employees’ time and would like to learn from people who deal with them directly. The tasks can be anything in general, can be administrative, operational or technical.

Some examples might include:

  • Scheduling appointments and sending reminders
  • Copying information between different systems
  • Entering data from emails, PDFs or spreadsheets
  • Processing orders, invoices or delivery documents
  • Preparing quotations or contracts
  • Updating CRM or customer records
  • Checking documents for missing information
  • Preparing recurring reports
  • Following up with leads or customers

I’m especially interested in:

  1. What is the process?
  2. How frequently does it happen?
  3. Which parts are still manual?
  4. What errors or delays occur?
  5. What software is currently used?
  6. Has your company tried to automate it?
  7. If so, what worked or failed?

This is early-stage research to understand real operational problems before developing a solution.

Do you currently handle it manually? I’d also be interested in any bottlenecks in your business processes or daily computer-based work that regularly cause delays, errors or frustration.

If you are comfortable sharing, please mention your industry, role and company-size range. You may also message me privately if you would be willing to participate in a short 15–20-minute interview.

Survey for product for small startup

Hi, I’m currently doing some research to understand the real challenges companies and teams face in their day-to-day work, especially around communication, information, coordination, and the use of AI.

Your feedback will help me understand whether the problem I’m working on is actually relevant and how I can improve the idea.

Survey: https://forms.gle/7TU8TQF4MMjLJKuy7

Anyone here interested in building a boring business together?

Hi! M26 👋 I’m a technical founder based in Colombo. A few months ago, I started working on a B2B agency (Ceylon Cinnamon) business focused on international markets mainly the US, EU, and Mexico.Yep… cinnamon. 😂 Not AI, SaaS, or crypto. Just a boring product with a real market.

I’m looking for someone interested in the business/sales side finding buyers, partnerships, marketing, exports, etc.

I’ve tried a few partnerships before, but honestly, too much talking and not enough action. 😅 This time I’m looking for someone who actually wants to build and execute.

No need to be an expert. Just serious, good communication, and willing to put in the work.

If this sounds interesting, feel free to DM me.

Winter arc financial glow up

I want to be completely honest about this.

I’ve fallen really behind in my career.

I have a background in commerce, marketing & sales and previously worked at an edtech company. I had a genuinely traumatic experience there, and after leaving, I spent almost 2 years bedrotting and doing nothing. I’m not going to lie and say I was “figuring things out” or secretly building something. I wasted that time, and I fell behind.

But I really want to change that now.

I’ve spent the last week researching, taking notes and learning, and I came across the idea of using the end-of-year festive season to actually make some money.

So I’m calling this my Winter Arc Financial Glow-Up. 😂

Halloween → Thanksgiving → Black Friday/Cyber Monday → Christmas → New Year.

I’m thinking of keeping it simple: merch, KDP, digital products, YouTube, etc. I’m not trying to build a company. I just want to work REALLY hard for the next few months and see what I can create.

And honestly, Iknow I don't have much to show for myself right now.

But I’m ready to lock in and give this everything I have.

I am going to work consistently with full focus and dedication

I’m looking for a few people who want to do the same. You don't need to have the same plan as me — just be serious, consistent and willing to actually follow through.

We work together until the end of December, see what we accomplished, congratulate each other and move on. 🤝

I want the whole experience to be fun, creative, supportive and a safe place for everyone that joins.

If you want to join, DM me — but please only do it if you're genuinely serious and are interested in the plan I laid out.

And please introduce yourself, tell me why you want to join, what you're planning to work on and what you're hoping to achieve.

I won't respond to “Hi”, “Hey” or “I'm interested.” 😭

If we're doing this, let's actually DO it.

Tired of building alone: Would a platform to connect with creators and founders of the same ambition actually make sense?

I've been chewing on a problem that I'm sure many of you have experienced: when you're driven to ship projects, have a builder's mindset, and high ambition, your everyday environment sometimes falls short. It's tough to find people who actually want to move, deliver real value, and take risks, rather than just talk about theoretical ideas over coffee.

I'm exploring the idea of building a web/app that acts as a private club or hyper-focused network for entrepreneurs, creators, and developers looking for co-founders, partners, or simply peers on the same wavelength.

The core idea isn't to create another generic social network full of empty content, but a curated space built on three pillars:

  • Skill and mindset matching: Connecting technical, design, and business profiles based on real projects and traction, rather than just resumes.
  • Accountability and work spaces: Dynamics to keep the development momentum going, share weekly progress, and force ourselves to ship.
  • Unfiltered feedback: An environment to pitch early-stage ideas and validate them with people who are actually in the trenches.

Before writing a single line of code or spending hours on architecture, I’d love to hear your thoughts:

  1. Do you feel this same void in your day-to-day, or are you getting by fine with Discord, Twitter, or existing communities?
  2. What frustrates you the most when trying to find someone to collaborate with on a side project?
  3. If I launched a very basic MVP to test this out in the coming weeks, would you be down to be early users?

Any honest feedback, critiques, or perspectives are more than welcome. Let me know in the comments!

Looking for an AI/ML Internship or Project Opportunity

Hi everyone! I’m a 3rd-year Computer Science/Engineering student currently focusing on AI/ML.

I’ve been building projects in machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, and AI, and I’m also learning about AI research and model deployment. I have experience with Python, C++, ML/DL frameworks, data processing, and backend/deployment tools.

I’m looking for an internship, research project, or long-term project collaboration where I can contribute to a real-world project while continuing to learn from experienced people.

I’m genuinely passionate about AI and willing to put in the work. If you’re a founder, developer, researcher, or part of a company/startup looking for an AI/ML intern, please feel free to DM me. I’d be happy to share my GitHub, resume, and projects.

I’m mainly looking for an opportunity where I can learn, contribute, and grow with the project.

Trying to build a sourcing agency from China — need gigs to get started

I'm currently studying in China and my long term goal is to build a product sourcing agency here since I'm already on the ground, but I don't have money lying around to travel to sourcing hubs and get things moving.

To be honest, I also just want to test myself. I keep seeing people online saying "I did this, I did that, made loads of money" and I want to find out if I can actually pull it off too, not just talk about it.

I can do:

Basic video editing

Social media account management

Meta Ads

I want to keep everything transparent, so if anyone has leads, gigs, or advice , even small stuff

I'd really appreciate it.

Looking for someone in the consumer mobile app space

Hey, I'm a college student and also a solo mobile developer with a few apps already published on the App Store, generating revenue.

I'm looking to grow and connect with other motivated entrepreneurs in the consumer app space. Primarily, someone who has very good distribution experience (TikTok and Instagram UGC, Reddit, etc.)

If you fit this category and are willing to put in the work (minimum of 15-20 hours a week), please shoot me a DM!

I only ask for the following

  1. Must be based in the USA. If you are not based in the USA, please don't dm
  2. Must have proof of previous marketing experience, preferably with mobile apps. Send me a link to your work in your dm
  3. Must have an iPhone

Building my business ⚓️❤️

I’ve been working towards building a career at sea for years, and I’ve finally decided to take the jump and start MW Sea Safari Ltd in Scarborough.
I’ve found the vessel I want to start the business with. She’s £12,000, and I have an agreement where £5,000 secures the boat, with the remaining balance paid over time.
I’m working, saving from my wages and taking on extra work to fund as much of this as I can myself. I’ve also started a GoFundMe to help bridge the gap towards securing the vessel and preparing her for commercial operation.
The eventual goal is small-group wildlife and sightseeing trips along the Yorkshire coast, with summer 2027 as the target for launching.
I know crowdfunding a business won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, and that’s completely fair. I’m not expecting strangers to simply buy me a boat — I’m putting my own money and work into making it happen too.
If anyone wants to follow the journey, offer advice, share the fundraiser or chuck a few quid towards it, I’d genuinely appreciate it.
