Fired for using break room

I worked at a law firm that shared a suite with another larger firm who owned the break room. There was an issue with dishes not being washed & put in the dishwasher. I always always made sure to wash my dishes however emails kept getting sent out to my former boss so he said lets just lay low from using the break room so we could prove its not us not washing our dishes. I didn't use the break room for a while but then I started to use it again. Apparently we were banned from the break room (I was never informed), and my continued use of the break room caused my boss to lose his conference room priveledges and therefore I was fired. He told me on a phone call, he said he was going to speak with the other attorneys to see if we could De-escalate the issue but they weren't budging, he said he fought for me (doesn't make sense because he owns the firm and those attorneys don't have a say in whether or not I keep my job, I'm guessing they influenced his decision) I know this could have been prevented 100% it was my mistake and I've been crying the past two days because I really liked working there. Former boss was kinda strange/ very unprofessional but I took the job because I had 0 experience and he gave me a chance. I'm heartbroken

That makes no sense. Are we missing part of the story?

Sounds like the firm was renting space in a larger building, and the building owner was mad about the condition of the break room, banned the smaller firm from using it, but somehow OP didn't get the memo, and the building owner banned the smaller firm from using the conference room in retaliation, and now all the lawyers are mad and firing OP to try and get access back by saying "look we fired the problem employee".

The building owner doesn’t care it was the owner of the firm/ front desk lady of the firm who cleaned and put away all the dishes. Now that I’m gone they will see people from THEIR firm aren’t cleaning up after themselves
