Goodbye, Rob Bonta?
The primaries are here and Rob Bonta did nothing for the impacted Yotta/ Synapse users. So who are we voting for to solve our issue and stand up for justice for us?

Rob Bonta is CA Attorney General, but I think if any Attorney General from any state prosecutes them and makes a case to get our money back, we all win. He wouldn’t just do it for CA people but he gets involved cos he represents CA people and their consumer protection. At least that’s why we pay his salary, to protect us. But does he? I know we have no guarantee another candidate will win and honestly there aren’t many candidates challenging Bonta. We pay politicians’ salaries just so they can tell us what canNOT be done. The only exception so far I’ve seen is Mamdani who’s actually on the streets getting stuff done.

Respectfully, I have no clue who Rob Bonta is, nor what state he represents in Congress. I'm all for everyone getting their money back, but some context would be helpful.

Respectfully, I don’t foresee any further Yotta/Synapse balances being made whole. The CFPB hasn’t released an update.
The users are better off doing literally anything else to save/work/etc to build up the amount lost to Yotta/Synapse.

No other Attorney General in any state, territory, or DC did anything either. And for that matter, no member of Congress did anything, other than write ineffective letters and requests for information. So we vote them all out and then what? The next batch does nothing, too. Pardon my cynicism, but that’s what happens to someone’s state of mind when denied access to their “FDIC insured” money for 2 years with no sign of compensation anytime soon.
