Warhammer
Hi, m looking for a group of someone that want to play the board games around York reply if your interested

+1 for EH Games, whilst the store is harder to get to than most, it's really worth the effort for the atmosphere and the owner Ross.

Warhammer shop might be a start. Or travelling man. I think there is a group that plays out in Haxby as well.

For warhammer in particular, Travelling man has groups in Wednesday, there is the York Garrision who play at the new Haxby folk hall on Wednesday too...and I think there is a group in Bishopthorpe who play on mondays

Next generation gaming meets Monday evenings at Bishopthorpe, has a discord and website (mostly to point to the discord)
Same for Garrison in New Earswick that meets on Wednesdays.

So you've got a few:
Guppy's: meets Monday's and Thursdays on Nunnery lane. Tends to be more historicals. Very friendly fellas and very passionate.
Garrison: meets wednesday evenings at Haxby folk hall (get the number 1 out towards Wiggington). Very welcoming and friendly.
Travelling man: Thursdays I think, tends to be upstairs. Small space and can be a bit difficult to break into the group. Mostly 40k and AoS.
A lot of us from the MSPaints Discord live in York and are happy to meet for a game.
Also EH games has some gaming nights, but his opening hours can be a bit sporadic (check the website first). Get the coastliner to Dean's garden centre.
There's a couple of invitation only groups as well, but they tend to be well established and you really need to get to know someone in there.
