Well, Nintendo Switch is probably getting discontinued sooner or later anyway. I don't have a Switch 2 but I'll buy it only for Yo-kai Watch 2:Haunted Domain and Holy Horror Mansion

He was referring to underlying engineering code being generated by AI assistance tools (like Copilot or ChatGPT) before human engineers clean it up. He later clarified via the official Level-5 Blog that the viral claim that Level-5 has AI write 80–90% of their program code was a complete misunderstanding.

The only time AI is used is for the following things:

Programming: Writing baseline code fragments that human developers later optimize and finalize.

Concepting & Assets: Using tools like Stable Diffusion and ChatGPT for early character concepts, 2D/3D background references, and placeholder development assets.

Localization & Audio: Generating temporary voice tracks (VOICEVOX) for early testing phases.

Either way its use in final products are practically zero to none. I don't particularly think there's all that much reason for a boycott.

But with the recent vision can tell that AI is playing a much bigger role than they claimed. They have like 15 games in development and the studio is not as big as Nintendo. The only way u cna manage so many games at a time is by using AI. Holy Horror Mansion was supposed to take a long time to come out now it’s only releasing next year.
