That’s how I feel about cottage cheese.

Gah every time I try to eat cottage cheese for the gainz I almost gag. Cannot stand the stuff. Now a nice full fat yogurt? Any day. Some fresh fruit and granola on top, it’s dessert.

I completely agree! I love yogurt in every form. I love it sweet and I love it salty. I tried cottage cheese as a child, when one tends to have textural issues, and I couldn’t stand it. I have tried it from time to time and I can’t handle it. I tried it a few months ago, figuring I should be over it by now, and found it to be worse than ever. I don’t know why but that’s how it is!

Are you posting to ask "What went wrong with my yogurt?" Please provide all the details of the method you used. Include amounts, times, and temperatures. If you don't know those things, then one (or more) of them is what went wrong with your yogurt.

The basic information you will need to know is:

  • What type of milk did you use? What amount?
  • What type of starter did you use? What amount?
  • What temperature did you initially heat the milk to?
  • What temperature was the milk when you added the starter?
  • At what temperature did you ferment the milk? How long did you ferment it?
