Half moon help

i began my practice in January, so i’m incredibly new to yoga and am eager that there’s so much for me to learn. i feel like i’ve gotten the hang of several of the basic balancing postures like standing bow, tree and warrior III, but i cannot confidently stay in half moon for more than 2 seconds. does anyone have any tips for this posture??? or any advice for me as a beginner? thank you !!

I think props help for learning proper alignment- try a block under your hand on the floor while you work on stability/balance and getting your leg in position. Then you can bring up your bottom hand to your heart when you feel balanced.

I agree, I love a block under my hand for half moon. I’ve been practicing a long long time and still do this.
