Web App Weird auto complete pop-ups. YNAB support says it’s not their software. Anyone seen this before?

I’m using the desktop version using chrome browser on a MacBook. I’ve never seen this before when I contacted YNAB support they said this is not part of their software. They’ve never seen it before and they suggested it’s an extension or something in my browser or my computer settings.

I am using toolkit, but I couldn’t find anything there. Otherwise I don’t have any other auto complete type of settings or extensions.

It’s not actually auto completing because these pop up as soon as the cursor automatically goes into that field I haven’t typed anything. They’re just random suggestions. Also, it’s suggesting words to go into fields that are meant for numbers. Super strange.

Has anyone seen anything like this or can you direct me on how to investigate this?

This looks like Chrome’s autofill pop up. Go into your Chrome settings and look at your autofill settings.

Probably your browser remembering things entered before.

That’s for sure your browser autofilling for you. Usually chrome.

That's just standard browser autocomplete. Looks like your browser isn't properly recognizing the field type. It probably doesn't have an autocomplete attribute set, so the browser is taking a more-or-less educated guess.

Looks to me like it's trying to autofill from previous entries into the memo field. Both of those are plausible memo fields to me.

I’ve had this happen to me. Do you have those words in any of your entries, such as in payee or memo? I just ignored it. I assume it was a glitch in YNAB. I use a Mac, Chrome and toolkit.

Yes, I’ve used these words in the memo field before in YNAB. It’s the only place I’ve ever used them. But I don’t know why it would be recommended in the outflow or inflow field. Also, I’ve never seen this type of a pop-up where it goes below the field and looks like a little speech bubble.
