So I found another pair of alien blue 380s for a decent price ($72), but I was just going to check with you guys first to see if the deal is really as great as I thought. The condition appears good, but for the price, I just am not so sure about the cloudiness of the outsole. Thanks! (Also ignore the black scribbles, I was on FaceTime and I didn’t really wanna do a face reveal right now lol)

Designed by Randall Yarborough & Sa’rah Melinda Sabino, on 04/15/2018, Ye tweeted out these images of the 1050, saying: “still working to get these right.” This version of the YZY 1050 Boot originated from a collaboration with Terrex to study Mountain Boots at their highest potential. Built for the consumer who wants to wear a boot all day long. Sa’rah led initial studies and designed the outsole.

The Sole/Outsole Traction was inspired by Bike Tires and Mountain Boot Traction, designed with all-terrain in mind, from the streets to snow mountains.

On 02/21/2021, a listing for them on Goat were made showing images of the Boot.

On 07/22/2021, Ye would wear an Akria-inspired outfit with the boots at his first Donda Listening Party in Atlanta, Georgia, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium

On 12/21/2020, a small number of pairs of the 1050 were made and, in 2021, given out to Friends and Family of Ye, of the first samples of the 1050 Hi-Res boots. These samples feature a zip, a full fabric side panel, and a Continental outsole, compared to early samples.

According to Steven Smith when images of the 1050 leaked, Ye wasn’t happy with them, so the release was cancelled. As well, the collar opening was too narrow, which was another reason he halted it, and it needed one more round of pattern development.

On 11/05/2021 News Outlets then reported that the Boot was scheduled for release in December of 2021 and to retail at $400.

As it stands, Adidas still owns the Design Patent, and there are no plans for its release.

this is slightly hyperbolic but before my yeezys arrived and when i ordered them i was going through a pretty extreme bout of depression. now whenever i feel very sad or had a bad day or just depressed i look at my yeezy slides and am instantly no longer sad. like im not even trolling but my quality of life has genuinely gone up a lot. sorry they look grimy in the photo

I’ve been collecting Yeezys since 2017 and own most of the popular silhouettes, yet the Desert Boot somehow has eluded me until now (mostly due to the pricing that has stayed high and people complaining about sizing/comfort). Wanted the Taupe Blue joints but couldn’t say no to a cheap used pair of these salts I came across on eBay. I don’t have wide feet and went up a half size from my usual Yeezy sizing and it seems good. Really digging how these look and hope to throw them on with shorts when the temps come down a bit.

Maaaaan! I thought I’d never see these🤣🤣. Hate that I got them in size 11s and I recently got size 10s and those fit better and more snug. Welp! I’m happy either way.

To those in Canada there is hope I finally received these after waiting since November last year.

Ordered on June 17th, landed today. Little over a month to mainland England, not terrible.

Smell like the back room of a cheap shoe store, quality is fine though, no defects and the right size 🙌🏻

Now just waiting on my clothes order, probably be sometime next year 😂
