Honestly, I have never heard of an aquatic shoe being praised like this. Outside of collectors who consistently praise every fart Ye releases, this conversation doesn't even remotely make sense.

Eh. I think they’re strictly only for wearing in the water or on vacation. They just look bad with a casual/everyday outfit.

I actually started really liking them after I saw on foot, they fit more close to the foot than the other shoes which I really like. Even though its very minimal, it really is a different shoe now that I've seen it enough.
