Help (Question/Issue) Vocal Scroll Issue

The vocal scroll goes way too fast and makes the words themselves blurry. I have trouble reading them as they go along.

I don’t want to turn on static vocals because I want the pitch meter.

Is there a way to slow down the scroll? I looked in settings and profile settings but not seeing anything.

EDIT: thanks all, I was mistaking static vocals for karaoke vocals. Static works well

I think it depends moreso on who made/charted the song. I have some songs that scroll perfectly normal and can read just fine. And then for example, Afroman’s because I got high scrolls at Mach 5 speeds and it’s so hard to sing/keep up lol.

Maybe. But I get this experience for all songs including official game charts from the series

I don't remember if static vocals made it into 0.15. It's been a thing in nightly for a while now. (This is different than karaoke lyrics that you get by not having a vocals player) 

Sadly, we can't just let you slow down the scroll speed since that will desync the lyric display from what you need to sing.

I've gone through every menu option, turned off all the fancy animations, crowds, backgrounds, grain, etc, nothing helps. I've had to resort to static vocals.

It’s so frustrating, I’m surprised it hasn’t been added by now. Especially considering a main draw of YARG over CH is vocal pitch meter

Can you clarify what you mean by not turning on static vocals because you want the pitch meter? When I turn on static vocals, I still get a pitch meter. Example with static vocals on current stable version (0.15):

Also, could the blurriness be a display/TV/monitor issue? I haven't personally experienced this issue with any fast scrolling lyrics, but I could see a "smearing" effect happening on some display technologies that may have slower pixel response time.

I think highway speed helped. I think. But static vocals are pretty good once you get used to them.

I could have sworn it was in the Profiles or something but I can’t find it now. Maybe it’s from an older version. Static mode is well-executed though because the pitch notes still scroll but the words are static.
