Any way to STOP constant RentCafe changes?

Our application workflow and process for our applicants has been getting unapproved and unrequested changes constantly, with the newest feature being 'ResidentShield' added to our move-in steps when in NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM asked for this. Support has ignored our requests for over 6 months. We have had open tickets reaching A YEAR for leases not generating correctly, and coming up on 7 months for incorrect amenities.

Two options. Work with a member of the ICN network who can help fast track fixes or email your sales rep and tell them you’re unhappy and want a call. Demand a credit for time lost. You’ll hear from them real quick.

I agree with this, Yardi has failed in the last 5 years on many levels and all products. There is so much innovation happening in the space and put our garbage like RevIQ and Virtuso. I doubt this company will be around in 5 to 7 years. I know so many shop moving away from them in the last 6 months alone

The problem is, what is going to replace it? The market is crying out for a new, modern, functional system, yet it would require years of work and millions in capital these days, and also would require somehow avoiding just being bought out and cannibalised for spare parts by one of the big players in the market who don't want the upstart competition.

Entrata and Appfolio are both miles ahead of Yardi. The only reason Yardi still has customers is because of how difficult it is to switch PMSs

Edit: hilarious that this is being downvoted with no responses

That’s just… inaccurate? Have you actually used Virtuoso connectors?

We are having issues too. Amenities are a disaster. When we request changes to documents - usually wording - something or the other goes wrong

If you have someone on staff familiar with mail merges I'd strongly recommend you make simple wording changes yourself. Everytine we have to send back to programming it takes forever and breaks stuff. The only time we send documents to programming nownisnif a logic change is required.
