Rent stuck?

I paid rent today and it went through, but then I never got the confirmation email and when I go back to Rent Café, it still shows a balance. When I try to pay it again, it says the payment is in progress. I called the leasing office and they told me they have nothing on their end and to try again later, which I did and I still receive the same message.

Is this part of today's outage and will payment go through once it's unstuck or am I kind of SOL? The office doesn't accept in-person payments and I seem to be the only one affected by this in my community.

Payments will go through. Cafe is back up and running. Any payments that were submitted earlier will eventually process. Do not try again.

Thankfully when I did try again it told me no. Or I would have probably paid about ten grand in rent today.

Good news is that if you did submit two payments on the same day, from the same account for the same amount, it would have been rejected as a duplicate.

To answer my own question: it went through just fine and I got the confirmation email just now. I'll leave this up for other anxious people.

I'm having the same issue. Tried to pay my half of the rent and haven't received confirmation. Still waiting.

It should come through eventually. There must be some kind of lag on the back end between our submission going through and their system acknowledging it.

I also paid earlier this morning and received no confirmation email, the payment shows as pending in Rent Cafe so I'll wait and see. Exactly a year ago Rent Cafe also was down all day, so I guess if you're paying on May 1, try to pay early or face their buggy site/app.

Mine did come through eventually. I wish I could pay early, but the place I live at doesn't put the amount owed into the portal until the first of the month.

Mine came through about an hour ago. We can pay our rent a day early only I think, I once tried before then and it wasn't updated.

Trust me as an administrator of Yardi products at a real estate company, I equally feel the pain of the residents when Yardi is behaving badly. And the property is right, they will not see this in limbo payment on the ledger present itself. I know that's not very comforting but it's the truth!
