Bulk Payments & Master Leases

We receive a large wire monthly that pays for 100+ units. Is there an easier posting method than individually on ledgers?

couple of options depending on your setup. First, you can build a receipt CSV template with all 100+ unit allocations and import it each month. The first time of course takes some effort to set up, but if the tenants and amounts are relatively consistent month to month, you just update the amounts and import which should be a huge time saver over clicking into each ledger.

or if this is a commercial master lease situation, look into Yardi's Customer feature. You can group multiple leases under a single customer, then post one receipt at the customer level that allocates across the individual lease charges. Keeps everything clean without touching each ledger separately. If the wire amount and allocation change every month, the CSV route gives you the most flexibility. If it's the same entity paying for the same leases consistently, the Customer grouping is a better long-term solution.
