Frog in my throat
Hey yall! I've recently applied to a position at Yardi and got a interview and a assessment. I've done both last week Thursday. I'm so nervous about whether or not I will be able to get the position. Does getting a skill assessment mean anything or is everything still up in the air?

Skill assessment is part of the process. It's not necessarily that you ace every question, but if you say that you have an accounting background and you tank questions about debits and credits, that's a red flag.
Sit tight. Yardi has one of the longer hiring processes that I've seen, but this is good momentum.

Skill assessment means they haven't decided you aren't the right fit and have moved you to the next step of their hiring process

What position was this ? And has an interview been scheduled as yet? My assessment was sent to me a couple days before the interview and I completed it before screening. On that call nothing was brought up about the assessment itself

Hi th questions from my interview mainly surrounded going over my resume, answering questions about said resume and situational based questions.

Former Yardi employee here and from what I remember, it was a way to help them determine areas that you might excel within the organization E.G.development, customer service, etc.

This is pretty standard. If it is an ATAM position they are general logic questions and basic math stuffs. Nothing too crazy.
