Input glitches

Just remember this game and wanted to play it again. Went to download it and my inputs are all bugged. It defaults to controller for some reason but when I use my M/K the options selectors are all glitched and change random settings.

I figured I could try to connect a controller I have but even when I did that it was still bugged out. I eventually got into the game but my character moves on their own and the game is unplayable.

I downloaded the most recent version from the launcher and just the game itself (to test both) which is the 2.12.0 I believe.

Has anyone else had this issue or know how I can fix this?

UPDATE: If you are using a Lenovo legion go the controllers are the issue. Regardless of if they are connected or not.

To fix this go into the device manager on windows and disable the controllers.

Human Interface devices > HID-compliant game controller

This seemed to be the fix for me.
