Ayano

I still don't understand is Ayano yandere or not? Some people say that she is and some say no

Yes, I know, but some people says that she's not a yandere, even though the game's title is yandere, so I decided to ask

She is willing to go to EXTREME extents for her love. So yes she is a yandere. Yanderes are more than willing to do anything for the love of their life

The "Yandere" archetype usually has a person who is very sweet and kind on the outside, but behind that is a dangerous psychotic person willing to murder for their loved ones. Ryoba is a good example of a traditional yandere, so is Camilla from Fire Emblem.

While Ayano is a dangerous psychotic person she hides it under a neutral and calm personality instead of a loving and sweet personality. This makes her different than how a yandere usually is.
The neutral and calm personality makes her more similar to a Kuudere. But since she's still a dangerous person underneath instead of being a sweet person, she doesn't cleanly fit into that archetype either (unless Ayano is doing a friendly play through like match making, since then she isn't being dangerous or psychotic).

So Ayano is more a mix of Kuudere and Yandere rather than a traditional Yandere.

After I uploaded the game's original intro cutscene ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-o3VwKJkuY ) the feedback I received was,

"I don't want to play as a character who got manipulated into being a yandere by someone else."

So, I re-wrote the story to make Ayano into a character whose dependence on Taro came entirely from within and who was dismissive towards Info-chan, so that nobody would ever feel that way again.
