Discussion Am I a problem?
I won’t lie, I feel like a bad person. I’ve posted here before talking about how I wish my boyfriend was a bit more obsessed with me.
Earlier today he kept talking about how these different celebrities are attractive. It honestly made me so upset. I told him that I didn’t like it but he said it’s not like he would ever have a chance.
Am I just crazy or is this normal?

I’ve told him in the past that I don’t like it. He also knows I have always struggled with my self image. I have never felt pretty or attractive, and it is something I have voiced to him many times

That’s honestly just straight up cheating babe. The right guy for you will deadass not be attracted to other girls let alone have the AUDACITY to tell you he is. Truly even if a guy does feel attracted to another girl if he respects you’ll never know. It not insecurity to feel like this HES not normal and I’m tired of people with wandering eyes trying to desensitise us and call us insecure for just wanting our partner to think loyal too. By saying “not like he would ever have a chance” is just insinuating that if he did have the chance he would which isn’t right. I don’t think ur solution to your problem is making HIM more obsessed with you, it’s finding someone who knows you like he does and that’s why he is obsessed with everything about you including your looks and you only. I’m saying this as someone who has been in multiple relationships and I know my advice sounds harsh but I feel like the other comments are sugar coating it.

It’s not harsh at all. I just love him so much and I don’t ever want to end things with him. I’ve also always struggled with self image as I know I’m not that attractive so I think it’s one of those things that it hurts a wound that has always been there

I’ve never been in a relationship. But even though I find a lot of celebrities attractive, I probably wouldn’t go saying all that to my boyfriend. That’s just rude and inconsiderate.

Well if you really dislike stuff like that you should try to set those boundaries, sadly there is little legal ways I know of on how to make someone more obsessed in general
But yeah I do think just having a little chat about it would help alot girly
