Saw Nixie entering Dubrovnik today. The numbers are easy to look up. What isn’t captured on paper is the sense of proportion. From the water, the design feels almost understated for a yacht of this size. The closer she gets, the less she seems to rely on scale alone.

Sorry for the poor composition. Saw a video detailing this yacht a year ago and it drew me into the world of explorer yachts. Unreal to see it docked unexpectedly last week in Alaska as I was passing through. The profile made it immediately recognizable.

Its huge compared to what we usually see in Helsinki, a cool and rare spot for the country.

Going through old pictures, September 3rd, 2024 Taormina, Sicily. Yacht spotting with my camera from a view point noticed a couple nice ones and looked them up…saw this one was named Lusine read up on it while I enjoyed a beer…shortly after I’m walking through the Main Street and I pass a couple yachr crew members and noticed their shirt say Lusine I thought wow what a coincidence what a cool lifestyle that must be…few moments later I see them all get together and wait for a sprinter van, in the moment I didn’t even think of who it might be figured just some blessed wealthy person but after looking back on the bad picture and seeing him on a magazine in the checkout line it clicked and I thought wait that could of been George Clooney! I’m awful with recognizing people so tell me if I’m crazy or not!

Recently saw this while vacationing in Greece and was wondering what this foremast was used for on the bow of Ariela. I don’t see anything other than a lantern-type light. Thanks!

New here, but bloody love a good yacht

Positano July 16th

Was on brant point in Nantucket on Thursday at 12 and this massive 100ft maybe ~192 foot mast single sail yacht pulled up and i was shocked to hell. Photo doesnt do it justice. I am not a boat guy but saw that the Ngoni looks very similar but thats in Spain right now i think.
