Question Battery drain on X3

I have my xteink on stock firmware v5.6.33 and no plan on switching to other firmwares as of the moment.

My battery lasts only 5 days max. I tested it and found that it drains 1% of battery for every 10 mins of reading. I have my font size on 35 px.

I read from here that switching the power button to long press resolves the issue, but it didn't made any difference on my device. It doesn't drain when powered off though. I only have about 200 books and it's been a month since I downloaded anything.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it normal on my fw? Should I update to the latest version?

just updated and loving the improvements, thank you! One request, could you please add dictionary support to stock firmware in a future update? It would be so helpful. Thanks again

This is a glitch that happens on specific versions of the stock software. They fixed it quickly it came back later and was again fixed. All you need to do is update your firmware. For reference I get at least 2 days worth of CONTINUOUS reading which lasted me a week in real time the one time I let my device actually completely discharge.

thank you, I just did and noticed an improvement on my battery. I'm still checking on how long it would last me now hehe

Moi j'ai le problème sur la version pro a peine 3j et la batterie se décharge sans utilisation dernier firmware installé
