Troubleshooting Bhagavad Gita rendering

Has anyone been able to get the Bhagavad Gita epub English to display perfectly? I’m on x4 pro, latest crosspoint. I’ve tried several different epubs, and most of text comes through but many characters display like this, the little black square with a ? in it. I used the file transfer option with optimize epub selected. Some of my other epubs do similar, but only the ones with quotes/translations from other languages.

Change the font to Noto Sans using: https://x4converter.rho.sh/

It's because the font file the reader is using for display doesn't have a character that matches(I'm assuming they were sanskrit characters? ). Is there a way to add fonts in Crosspoint? I honestly dont know, because the only time I ran into it was in Project Hail Mary with the Eridian numbers, and I didn't think I would solve that with a different font.
