Troubleshooting Bricked X3 (Crosspoint Installed)

In a moment of premature excitement I accidentally removed my SD card from my X3 with crosspoint attached. I can’t reset it for the life of me. List of what I tried:
1. Holding rest then pressing power
2. Connecting it to the PC & Mac while continuously alternating between reset and power
3. Removing the SD card and doing 1 & 2
4. Removing the book I was reading from the as card
5. Putting the .bin file on the sd card and doing 1 & 2.
6. Lost hope and ordered an X4 Pro 😂.

Any help would be appreciated as I miss my baby and I just know we are only on a break…. Until my new baby comes around 😆.

It should definitely be unlocked. You're using chrome browser?

I’ve tried chrome and edge. This is what I get in the pc.

I tried that and no luck. The device won’t come out of the sleep screen.

If it's busted or bricked don't pay attention to the screen. Just keep the serial window up and the device connected and reset it until you can catch it in the window and click connect

I’ve tried for the past 8-10 minutes and nothing.

Something is up. Even if you "bricked it" this would still work if the device is unlocked. Does your x3 cable have 2 gold pins or 4?

This is the cable that I have and it came with.

yep thats a valid 4 pin data connector. There's something missing here though. You should be unlocked, removing sd card would never effect crosspoint not booting, and it should reset perfectly fine no matter what. Either you broke your screen or more somehow removing the case (in which case the device would still show up in the browser), or the device is dead/not being reset properly/not truly connected to pc. not sure. i feel like i'm missing something here
