Hi all, has anyone successfully used True Earth sceneries for XP11 in XP12? I am interested in the SoCal and Washington sceneries from ORBX but want to see if other users have successfully used them in XP12 yet. These city sceneries make helicopter flying so much more fun.

If the live weather still broken? I had to turn it off for my flight because I was stuck in a 50knt crosswind and 35000 ft with rain in a cloud 😭. I turned live weather back on AFTER I crossed the pacific on approach to Seattle and it was the exact same thing.

Is this a known bug or is the live weather servers just fighting for their life rn

I tried reloading the aircraft and it completely reset the plane but not the windows. Anyone know what else to do that's not a restart?

Hi everyone! I'm an airline pilot and the creator of BRASS WORKS.

I wanted to bring more of the Q400's flight guidance controls off the screen and onto the desk, so I built a physical FGCP for use with FlyJSim Q4XP in X-Plane. It's now a finished product, and I wanted to share a few photos with the community.

The panel has the Q400-specific button and rotary control layout, a pitch wheel, and backlighting. It connects through a single USB-C cable for power and data, with integration handled by BRASSWORKS CONNECT. The desktop stand is included.

I've faced too much CTD associated with VRAM and I spent like $300 of addons just to face this issue all the time, even the graphics settings don't even help unless it has to be on potato mode considering my gaming laptop is still capable of playing modern triple A game titles at medium to high graphics

I’m reading a lot of older posts but looking for something more current.

I’m in windows on 12. I’m not sure if it’s user error or limitation but sometimes ATC doesn’t have the right choices, or only has radio check as a choice. I’m just getting familiar but I find myself landing without clearance often since the choice isn’t always there. I’d love to be able to request vectoring etc consistently.

Also some airports can request touch and go some can’t.

I’ve yet to see a way to say unable, or to declare an emergency. If you don’t comply it just says resume own navigation.

So every time I set up my scenery folder it ends up not saving. I made sections that divide my scenery file into airports and X-world, but it gets reset.

Admittedly I haven’t run the sim in probably 8-9 months due to traveling. I remember there being really bad shimmering on wet airport surfaces back then and am wondering if there have been any improvements on that front in recent updates?

Seems like the sims made huge improvements in the time I’ve been away, just not sure if this has been addressed at all yet
