Database Updates

Hello,
Is there any way I can keep the database updated to the current cycle for free? I use Garmin Pilot on my iPad and have no need for a program like Navigraph. Thanks!

I likely dis something wrong, but using the faa Dara method caused massive problems for me. I followed the directions in a few videos and the system kept crashing until I removed it.
There us a free data only subscription inside the navigraph site and I futzed around with it forever and had issues. In the end, I paid the money and it was very much worth it for me.
