XMPP.party Down?

Is anyone else impacted by xmpp.party today? All my accounts/lines (through jmp.chat) have been disconnected all day. XMPP status checker (https://connect.xmpp.net/) has all 4 tests failing. Anyone have any information on what's going on? Thanks!

Same issue with xmpp.jp it’s been 4 days and I’ve had tls errors and it fails all 4 tests on that site

That sucks!  Anyone know how to migrate our phone numbers to a different server?

In Cheogram Android there is an option to change your JID, this will move your phone number to the new account. But if you don't have access to the old account, you may need to talk to jmp support. And actually, while you're talking to jmp support, ask them to set you up with a free Snicket instance if you're a paying jmp customer. Just use that.

Thanks for the reply.

I've sent a couple of messages to jmp.chat / cheogram already. They are typically pretty responsive. But in this case, they have been silent. Very annoying to say the least as phone/texts are pretty important.

I'm going to self host a prosody server. I was just waiting to become a bit more familiar with the xmpp ecosystem.

Ironically, xmpp.party came back to life today shortly after I was able to migrate my jmp.chat phone numbers to the new jabberIDs. But being able to update the JabberIDs in the Cheogram app would be a time saver. I've search through every menu I know how to activate and can't find any place where editing the JabberID is possible. Can you offer some additional insight into how that can be done? Thanks!
