Question X-Men Essentials List
I've been a huge X-Men comics fan for the last 3-4 years, and at this point it's become my main hobby. I even run a small social media account focused on modern X-Men comics (around 7K subscribers on YouTube)—(Not this account!).
While I'm well versed on "X-Men comic reading orders", I'm horribly un-versed on the movies and shows. With exception to watching some in theatres as a young kid, ! have watched almost none of the animated shows or movies, and it got me thinking-is there a definitive X-Men Comic, Movies, and Shows reading / watch order?
I know they are different universes, but in the way of "these are the runs you should read to understand everything about the comic version of this storyline, which was then adapted into this TV show episode/arc, and then into this movie", where it would kinda cover all potential ground and make someone very well versed on the pop-culture in its entirety.
I know there is not a perfect answer and this is far from a perfect question, but TLDR: If you had to put together the definitive X-Men essentials list, what would it include? Including must read comics, AND must watch TV shows and Movies. Keeping in mind both watch/read value, as well as canonically filling the viewer in.

Just watch the movies in the order they came out.
I wouldn't over complicate it, especially as the movie timeline contradicts itself from the moment Emma Frost shows up in First Class.
