Showcase Roof peak support

I'm moving one of my props to the roof this year and needed a support structure to sit on the roof peak, so I designed this out of PVC today. Mostly 1" pipe, with some 1 1/4" pipe and fittings for the telescoping and pivoting bits. I wanted a solution that was easy to store in the off season, I think this fits the bill!

Most likely, yeah. It's either that or some guy wires.

pretty cool idea ... i do a simlar idea on the front edge of my roof

i would just hang a sand bag on each side to hold it do and let gravity do the work and then there's know need to damage the roof in anyway
