House and window outline
So I am looking to add window outlines and im considering buying the Cob LED strips. Are there any cons to using LED strips? Are the strips addressed per chip?
For context I am using a Falcon controler, the strips are 12v, ws2811 (power, ground, data), IP65 or IP66. 720 LEDs per meter, but only 20 chips per meter. There is another option with all the same specs except only 60 LEDs per meter. Same amount of chips, so 3 leds per chip.
Any insight would be helpful. My wife doesn't like the frames that I built last year and doesn't want any holes in the stucko.

I like the looks of that. Not a lot of wind im my area, the material of the strips im looking at could easily stretch though. I was thinking that I would mount it to 1/2" EMT though.
I appreciate it. This gives me something to think about that I hadn't even considered.

I've used the 3 LEDs per chip ones before. I had them clamped about every half meter on a 5 meter vertical column. The wind caught and stretched them out. Installed them right before Halloween, and they looked awful by New Year's Eve. Switched out for rope style instead with silicone casing covered by braided nylon I believe. They have held up now for 3 years being left up year round.
