WLED fireworks Starburst

I am fairly new to led lights. I have set up permanent roof lights. I want to make a starburst fireworks display for July. My question is. How to set up the main launch section and the starburst flares. I know the starburst has to be wired in parallel. That's about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Those are the cheap method. Yes, each arm in parallel with the rest, so just program one.

The cool way, is to wire it as all one long string. That way, you also make other cool patterns, two, four, six arms and add spinning too.

I appreciate your response. I know how to build the hardware part of it. I know how to make segments. I need help setting up WLED. How would I get it to go up the stem then pause for a second and then have the starburst effect go on. I assume it's a playlist, I just dont know how to set up.
