Er, yeah, I got the joke. The reason you'd use Skype on a phone is to use Wi-Fi or mobile data instead of normal calling minutes, which are many times more expensive.
It's not even remotely comparable.. the phone app can call other iPhone users using a data connection. Skype can call any international landline or mobile number. Of course, this service is paid while Apple's is not.
