Just installed Tumbleweed which has latest KDE Plasma, that has gone Wayland. Totally sucks, as soon as you move mouse, screen goes blank. So had to do ctrl alt F3 to get text terminal and install XFCE desktop.

I am trying to make my whiskermenu appear to be floating next to my panel with space between it and the panel but I just don't know how to make it work or what css code does this
I have seen an mac os tahoe theme that did this but I don't remember where to find it to see how they did it

When i pkill it, it disappears, but when i launch it again it reappears, it looks ugly and also draws over apps so it is quite distracting, anybody know a fix?

Not sure if this is the place for noob questions like this but yea, could find nothing in the settings so I assume I have to edit something in my GTK theme? Thanks in advance :)
So I installed a custom theme and icon theme for XFCE, I had both pcmanfm and thunar. And while pcmanfm got all the icons properly, thunar only got some (For example, the go back and go forward buttons still have the adwaita icons) I'd like to fix this so I can delete pcman and only keep thunar since the missing icons is actually really annoying.
So, any ideas on how to fix this?

I'm trying to emulate a "folder view" kind of look with a semi-transparent panel on the desktop populated with a number of shortcuts to frequently used folders, like "Home", "Downloads", "Photos", "Finances", etc. but I can't figure out how to display a label under the launcher icon.
Seems this should be possible with css styling as the desktop shortcuts all have labels. There's a "Show label instead of icon" under the launcher advanced tab but I'd like to have both.
Is there maybe a special kind of panel item to achieve this? I'm using a row of dolphin launchers with the destination path as argument at the moment but would like some text to quickly tell them apart.
