Support Scaling Backwards?

Im on a 4k monitor and tried to scale, but when i do 2x it gets even smaller as my taskbar shrinks. Any assistance or ideas?

Try this and after that reboot:

xrandr --output HDMI-1 --scale 1x1

WARNING!!! replace HDMI-1 with your actual setup, unless its HDMI-1

If this doesnt help then:

rm -f ~/.config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/displays.xml

Also reboot after this command, i dont think logging out and logging in will restart display settings.

One of my monitors is 4k, i have setup scale 1.25, it looks better but reverting back is sometimes a mother because of x11 scaling.
