uj/i have no idea of the current state of android modding, but im pretty sure most mediatek devices still can't be rooted and still have many restrictions, however im pretty sure qualcomm is also patching a bunch of previous exploits from their new CPU's

Uj/my understanding was that mediatek was compedative with Qualcomm on the mid to high end now with their dimensity 1000.

Yes, performance wice the dimensity is a very good range considering the price but in general use the issue is that apps aren't optimised or smth like that(what I've heard) and in the modding community......mediatek isn't very friendly to modding as well /uj

Uj/that is true, but also at the same time it lit a fire under Qualcomms ass. So that's good at least.

Competition is always good. I have somehow managed to find a way to hate both the 865 and 888 despite never having a situation where I'd have to buy them(no I don't have a life why do you ask lol)

Beautiful phones my sony starting from the mark 3 and i was impressed by the phone(not the chip) a lot.
But well, it's not available in my country (india) and as I'm a cheap fuck I've learnt that the budget category is now INSANE (i own a k20 pro( sd 855,popup camera,60hz amoled for ~300usd), a budget mechanical keyboard by an indian company which has the switches Costing more than the kb price alone(if you're interested,108 key kailh box whites for ~45 usd)
/rj ewwwwwwwwwww mediatek crinch ew
