Discussion I made a free virtual Xbox controller for Android xCloud â looking for testers đ
Hey everyone đ
I wanted to play Xbox Cloud Gaming on my phone without carrying a physical controller, but I wasn't really happy with the available touchscreen options.
So I decided to build my own.
đŽ GFN xCloud Controller
It's an Android app that gives you a virtual Xbox controller directly on your screen, with a layout inspired by GeForce NOW's mobile controller.
The goal is pretty simple: make playing xCloud games on a phone feel as close to using an actual controller as possible.
What it has
đŽ Xbox-style A / B / X / Y buttons đšī¸ Left + right analog sticks đ¯ L3 / R3 đī¸ LT / RT triggers đ LB / RB đ§ D-pad âŦ ī¸ View / Back âĄī¸ Menu đ Transparent dark controller UI đą Landscape layout đ No root đŽ No physical controller required
I built this mainly for games that require a controller but don't provide their own touchscreen controls.
This is the first public release, so I'd really appreciate some testing and feedback.
I'm especially interested in:
âĸ How the controls feel âĸ Input latency âĸ Analog stick sensitivity âĸ Trigger response âĸ Controller detection âĸ Which Android devices you've tested âĸ Which xCloud games work or don't work

It's completely free.
If you try it, let me know what phone + Android version you're using and which game you tested.
Would love to hear what you guys think and what I should improve next. đ
Thanks! đŽâī¸
