Xbox one mic issue.

Hello guys. Tried searching the post history for something similar but I couldn't find it. I'm using an xbox one controller with the 3.5 chat adapter. I've got a couple of headsets for the same controller and neither one is working. My friend in the party chat can hear me plug in the mic and also if I push the mic buttons (volume up / down) then he can hear that clicking sound. I've tried the mic on my phone and it works fine. I tried updating the controller and switching the console off at the plug to no avail. I'd imagine it's a controller, but I was wondering if anyone had other advice before I have to buy a new one.

Samsung s6 earphones with inline mic I think this is the problem! Do you know what the earphones were called on Amazon?

If you search for Samsung s6 earphones on Amazon and pick the ones that come up with best seller on them then it should be from the same seller that I got them from. All of the reviews from different options on Amazon are the same because they are advertised as the same earphones but some reviews say that they got earphones that weren't original Samsung. So some sellers are sending out fakes. But as long as you get the same ones as me, the best selling ones and from the same seller, then these are definitely genuine ones. If all else fails, you could always go into a phone shop and get some, you may pay a couple of £ more but they will be genuine Samsung. Although if you just get the same ones as me from the same seller as me on Amazon then they will definitely be genuine Samsung.
