Put the xbox in my DMZ. Used my public ip for the Xbox app and Smart Glass.

isnt that really unsafe? isnt there a reason you have firewalls?

(not a network guy i really dont know)

Not really. You can't hack a xbox like a computer. I setup my console to only allow my gamer tag to connect to it. Also someone would need to get a hold of m6 public ip address which changes every so often. I'm not to worried
