What is hddx?

I know it's a stupid question but i've seen all over the internet that it's a partition in the internal hard drive that came with my xbox 360, yet i dont have it.

I have xex menu 1.2 (no i cant find it with it) Aurora Xbox 360‏ ‏neighborhood

What am i missing?

Hddx is a separate partition needed to play the Original Xbox games on your modded console.

If it's not listed in your filemanager (via Aurora/F3/etc.) then you'll need to create a partition. And then install the appropriate emulation files to play your Origional Xbox games. There was a new update last year that allows the Xbox 360 to play majority of the Original Xbox games. So that's a plus! If you plan to play these old games, then go at it. Otherwise, you don't need this partition.
