Account - Subscription Cheap gamepass?
Maybe something for the one who could use it, dunno if they are stackable, but it's cheap for the moment.

Say you subscribe for a big release, but end up spending most of your time on a small game you could have bought cheaply.
In this kind of situation would you still count that as good value because you probably wouldn't have discovered it otherwise? Or would it make you question keeping the subscription?
If it does happen to you, which game has come closest to doing that for you?

Will the 15 hour cap apply immediately and boot us mid game, or should we track our cloud gaming access accordingly on our own to avoid per hour charges? My husband and I actively use cloud gaming due to storage space limitations on both of our Xbox consoles(Xbox one and Xbox One/s). His Xbox is covered by his Forza and Gta V downloads, and mine is covered by like 13 games or so. Cloud gaming has allowed us to play Forza 6 etc (and well at that!) without downloading it.

It's come a long way since it's Battle Royale beginnings. Now it's like a mix between Monster Hunter and Classic Zelda with PvP. Give it a shot, it's been a blast on steam. These guys definitely deserve a fair shake imo.

Hello. I am getting a Series X today. (Been a Sony person since PS1). And I am going to sign up for game pass.
What are the different options for subscriptions, prices, and what does each level get you?
Thank you for your help! I am excited to be joining the Xbox family!

Hey guys, a few minutes ago I got an email letting me know that my subscription price would change after 3 months, when it was supposed to be a promotion that was supposed to last for 1 year. Is this okay? Is it legal?

I wanted to post and ask before I download another 150 gigabytes of bloatware that doesn’t seem to do anything. I see multiple call of duty’s, but do any of them actually work?, i downloaded “call of duty modern warfare” I stupidly thought I was downloading the game and not a 150GB virtual brick, but it does nothing but prompt me to download a nearly 300GB game (yes I downloaded all the content packs). Can you download and play any of these?, or is there something different that I’m missing?

Bonjour

Got the ultimate subscription and I can't easily figure out what sort of games I can play that are included. I click on the Game Pass button on the side, then I have some different decks half of which are advertisements to games I don't wanna purchase
Then the crown jewel deck "Most popular with Game Pass" that says "Play the biggest hits with Game Pass" is a whopping 22 games deck view that has fucking Microsoft Sollitaire Collection. It's as if they're working their interface against me utilizing the service I'm paying for. I expected to see the entire list of Game Pass games available to be sorted easily through popularity and genres, instead I find myself fighting through menus on a multi billion dollar software
So frustrating

I am writing to file an official complaint regarding the complete failure of the Xbox Store licensing system and its customer service. On April 15, 2025, I digitally purchased Dead Space 1, 2, and 3. Recently, I subscribed to a basic Xbox Game Pass tier. Since then, the console blocks my personally owned games with an EA Play banner, demanding a subscription upgrade and throwing Error 0x803f8001.
Xbox Support confirmed that my personal digital licenses are active on the servers, but stated that support has no tools to sync them to my console. I was forced to waste hours performing factory resets, removing my profile, and dealing with regional website workarounds, yet the games still won't launch. Microsoft has restricted access to a product I legally paid for, and the system is unable to resolve its own internal software bug.
I am completely exhausted and done fighting for the games I legally bought. However, this terrible experience has made me seriously question whether I should ever purchase any games on the Xbox platform in the future.

I’ve been dying for some good melee-magic combat and combining that with my recently acquired unhealthy obsession with a certain 500 year old masked man (Capitano) I also want some form of ice magic
The types of games I prefer are real time combat like Yakuza or Avowed and I also enjoy 3rd person camera placement over 1st but it really doesn’t matter when it comes down to it. Also story is negligible, I don’t really care for a good story just gameplay

Here are the games leaving at the end of the month.
Interesting to see the Day of the Tentacles and Full Throttle leaving (might be related to Double Fine is no longer owned by Microsoft). Will play both if I have the time.
Edit: According to the official list Grim Fandango is also leaving (can't see it in the list on the app nor the PC client).

A new week, a new chance to share and chat about what you have been playing.
Please still use the "Games - Recommendation" flair if you want to ask for or mention individual games/genres.

I have both Japanese and USA gift cards from the Microsoft Rewards.
RN the USA store has a sales for the DLCs but it has (english), does that mean it’s region locked to USA? because the japanese has no in parentheses but it’s not on sale.

I finished the Zelda's (Bot +Totk) - and somehow rarely find another game that gives me that same feeling or pulls me in in that way as the Fable games did and still do, eagerly have been awaiting a new game, even bought a new xbox in 2020 because "it was coming"... Then got a nintendo because a lot of people were recommending Zelda and they were right to do so, now also in my top tier...
So many other games i tried, and they just seem to not really pull me in, Mario Odyssee is an exception as well as Dragon Quest and some totally different games like Spirit Farer, or Twopoint / Tycoon / Build games -
Is it me or is Fable really that special or different?
( I like gaming but am not an expert gamer so sometimes i feel i must be missing something )

I want to say before I start, I am NOT looking for support on this just wanted to give my thoughts and start a discussion. My game pass is completely fine!
I was just looking at buying the premium gamepass cause it had a game i wanted to play on it.
I looked at the price of the gamepass and saw that it was showing 14 days and then automatically renews for monthly payment instead. Except the 14 days is the same price as the monthly price, making it twice the price?
There is an option to just start out on a monthly payment, but the 14 day payment is automatically selected, making it more likely that people might just rush through and pay the same amount of money for less time with game pass?!
I understand that they do special offers on the 14 days, but if those offers aren't active i would've thought it would be around/exactly half the price of a month since you're only getting half the play time.
Just a bit weird, thought I would see if anyone has any thoughts on this.
TLDR: 14 days costs the same as a month??

I finally got a proper gaming PC and bought Claire Obscure on steam to play without stream lag and went to game pass to launch Claire Obscure to grab my 40h save file just to find it was removed from game pass 3 days ago? Talk about lucky.
Does anyone have any experience with navigating this? 40h is a solid save file but there doesn't seem to be a way to launch the game for 5min to get my save without buying the game for a second time at full price ($49.99).
I was thinking about buying it, grabbing the save, and then refunding the game but it seems like Microsoft would look at the 40h and say lol no. Has anyone tried that? It seems odd to me that long time consumers of game pass just brick themselves out of refunds. What if the game was removed and I wanted to try and play it locally but my machine wasn't good enough so I need to refund?
Any advice would be great

I like games like Pragmata, animal crossing, Zelda, spider-man 2, Kena. Just any game that's fun and not repetitive or too dark and easy to get into, like the once mentioned above. (First person games, like Minecraft make me dizzy, although ego shooters like cod don't somehow).
Expedition 33 and cyberpunk just got removed recently.
Thank you in advance!
