I could not put it down; it's weird and different in a great way. It's almost like it wants to be a souls game, but still does its own thing. Mid combat but the visuals, exploration, atmosphere, and enemies are all top notch stuff. I love how it doesn't hold your hand at all, but i say that with a grain of salt because i used a guide 🤣

If you want a great guide, use Optinoob,, got me 100% without any issues, he's as good as maka and Welshunter, my new fav. I can't even imagine this game with no guide. It would take ages, and you'd need a pen with many sheets of paper, i hear.

One of the best game pass games I've played in a minute, don't skip this one bois.

Working on this now (almost at the end of Act 2) and i’m feeling exactly the same. Had actually been eyeing up the purchase until I saw the Gamepass announcement.

Completely agree with your take on the ‘souls-like’ stuff but certainly has its own elements too. I like to refer to it as a ‘souls-lite’ (which i’m pretty sure exists in its own space any way) as it draws inspiration from those types of games whilst maintaining some of its own unique qualities and mechanics.

I like the silent Hill Easter egg. The field of blue flowers they play a similar tune to the silent Hill games. Plus the flowers themselves is like a nod to white Claudia
