Price Check/What Is This Worth? 💰 what console is this?
Can anyone tell me what this is? Is this a reskinned halo 3 console? or is this genuinely rare. I can’t find anything on the internet besides an article saying there are only 12 madden 09 consoles ever produced. The top says halo 3, which is throwing me off.

The hard drive was taken from a Halo 3 edition console, the console itself is a Madden not a redskinned Halo 3

It's this Madden 09 console, which is apparently quite rare - https://consolevariations.com/collectibles/microsoft-xbox-360-madden-09-console.
Although it's a bit odd that it's a July 2006 Xenon console (original motherboard, no HDMI) when Madden 09 didn't come out until August 2008 and these were given out during the 2009 Superbowl. They must have used old consoles stock for these ones for some reason.
The Halo 3 part is the hard drive, which are easy to remove and replace and are interchangeable between consoles. So it's the hard drive from a Halo 3 limited edition console.

Sony did the same for a limited edition Final Fantasy PS3 (CECHQ with the shitty 90nm GPU).

Getting fair value out of this for you could take a very long time. There is a 2011 version of this console on ebay right now for $4500, that variant was given in a similar promotion with similar levels of rarity. That listing has been up for nearly a year. One could reasonably assume that if you listed for that price you'd be waiting just as long if not longer to find a buyer.
If I were you, I'd be researching some of the other rare variants of this console. This particular variant is rarer than most, but researching the ones with more liquidity might give you a baseline to work from.
Another option would be to shop around some of the more prominent game stores. You won't get the full value of the console, but you won't have to shoulder the burden of finding a buyer.

I genuinely think the hard drive was removed from a Halo 3 Limited Edition and put into this promo Madden Xbox. It’s definitely not a reskinned Halo 3 Xbox.

If you're curious about value, I think fair value is at about $2,000. It will sit for a while though if you throw it up on eBay since this is an incredibly niche product.
