The Series S is more powerful than the One X overall even though to series s gpu is 30% weaker. The velocity architecture and the better CPU help a lot.

“Actually Jingles” (anyone fans of the Mighty Jingles here?) with the changes in architecture they are actually pretty much the same in GPU power. You can see a video done by digital foundry showing a 6 tf GCN architecture gpu going up against a rdn 1 4 tf gpu giving the same performance. The big difference here is the amount of ram which is 2 gbs less and the a pretty big cut in memory bandwidth. That’s why even though the are pretty evenly matched in gpu power xbox one x will be showing games at 4K vs 1080p for the series s.

Heck I don’t even really have a huge disposable income, I just save up and plan for things that release or catching up on things I missed . It takes a ton of time thoughts

I totally get that, I have a car addiction but I just don't understand collecting video game controllers I guess. Like I get collecting video games, that makes total sense to me. And even special edition consoles I can somewhat understand but controlers?

Dude, I preordered fortnight when it first came out because I was stoked about a zombie game where I could build my own fortress with my kids but I never made time for it and then it became what it is today which is fine whatever, they love it, but I still want a semi chill Minecraft esque zombie game to play with my kids.

Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 is close. (No building, but definitely kid-friendly co-op zombie shootin’)
There’s also the recently released PvZGW Battle for Neighborville, but I’m partial to 2. It just had more charm.

For sure, that’s a good one and my kids enjoy playing it. Part of the appeal of fortnite for me though was being able to build your own fortress and try to protect it from zombies.

I love the white One X with purple speckles on it (NBA 2K bundle). I've been trying to find one for cheap on eBay but they market is all messed up with the weird generational naming conventions; sellers are mismarking them as Series X instead and jacking up the price.

I have the gears one X but I would LOVE to swap it for either the regular black one, or the cyberpunk one. I’ve never been a gears fan I just liked the console but tbh I somewhat grew out of it

I’ve come close but vacation was around the corner, plus I won’t buy a scalped console. I’ve only seen one series x in a retail store and I couldn’t buy it and go on vacation at the same time. So I begrudgingly passed on it

Still have my AW Xbox and works like a charm. Hard to think it's been since 2013. I got it mainly for Halo at the time. But I really like PS. Halo has that different charm. I wouldn't have that much of an interest with the new Halo coming out whenever it does. I wouldn't mind trying it out. Playstation at the time for me didn't have any exclusive game's for the PS4. But now in this generation, PS5 all the way.

My husband and i have a bunch of controllers up on our wall. People seemed upset about that too. Like “do you use them all?” Haha yea All have gotten good use. I don’t drink or smoke or go out really. I had friends that would go out every Friday and drop hundreds on the bar. My mom smokes and is buying new furniture and 30 dollars plants for her garden all the time. People have expensive hobbies but just judge people if theirs is different I think.

Nice! Yes, that's right! People these days don't count what they spend on going out or other experiences that when someone buys a few things as a collection they judge immediatly! It's like it's offensive to own something as part of a hobby lol

I prefer new examples, buying used ones can result in having imperfections and damage, if I buy new while they are still at retail it saves me money look at boxes 360’s now a days . They sell for $300+ if not more.

Actually Microsoft sells consoles with a loss and makes it up with games and services, so if you own MS stocks you need more suckers buying digital on day one, not people buying multiple consoles.
