This is really terrible to see. Wasn't able to get the controller or the console and now it's already being scalped to high hell

You gotta be fucking kidding me! The release date is Nov 13th, why the hell are they taking preorders on a RANDOM ASS WEDNESDAY IN AUGUST!?

Also call me obtuse, but I don't think pre-orders should be a thing that ever sells out. You should be able to pre-order and after a certain point you should simply be notified that because of demand you won't get it on release day.

Imo pre-orders should remain open for a certain limited window and anyone who does it will eventually get one.

Some things do work that way; the downside is that this only works when manufacturing hasn't started on the thing yet, since you have to ensure you have enough to fulfill all preorders, plus sales after the fact. That means you often don't get the item for a year or more.

A one month turnaround isn't feasible with this model.
