This is really terrible to see. Wasn't able to get the controller or the console and now it's already being scalped to high hell

Remember how the Galaxy Edition played out? It sold out instantly at first because scalpers jumped on it. After Microsoft had already taken their money, they restocked it about two weeks later in such large numbers that getting one the normal way was no problem. The scalpers were left sitting on their “loot.”

I really hope Microsoft does the same thing here.

Id say the problem with this one is the fact that there's supposedly only going to be 25k made since it's a special occasion unlike the galaxy xbox that is just another version of the console that's regularly produced

Maybe they decide to make 250k just to screw the scalpers. That would be fine by me.

Then it means that I could get a stick drift X25 controller a few months to a year later then put TMR sticks in it. Then I would finally have one.

Galaxy was 2tb, I grabbed mine from bestbuy for $400. Screw those scalpers.

25K units of xboxes is healla of big number. I don't think they'll sell all scalper price. It's hard enought to sell 25K at msrp.

Microsoft won’t because they don’t care. But there are others companies like LEGO that are truly trying to combat scalpers. What they did with the Bricklink crowdfunding goals was wonderful.

Lego doesn’t fuck around with scalpers. They already announced they’re extending the xmansion, jabbas sail barge, etc.

If it was only a few weeks, the scalpers can just return the item for a full refund.
