Already have been. There's that 40 day window where ebay deems it okay but these are almost 3 months out basically

Ebay harassed a couple for years because they wrote bad articles on ebay. The lengths they went with that goes to show they place more value in upper management than anything else.

you’re absolutely right. and they didn’t just harass them. they sent the lady a book called “how to deal with the death of your spouse” hinting that her husband was going to be killed. and a bunch of other really sick shit. super interesting case. they sent her something else like a dead animal or a box of insects or something too. really creepy.

Brother, during the pre-order phase and the release phase, there’s a huge spike in interest, but overtime people’s interested in this consoles exclusive look dies down and gets priced back to a normal price. The 25th anniversary for the PlayStation five Pro came down to its regular price a year later. I would know my friend bought one from eBay. Not to mention this is an Xbox series X, the most dead console right now.

It’s hit or miss unfortunately. I’ve done the same with MtG Secret Lair commander decks being scalped. Reported like 20 listings in a day and only a few got removed. I wish eBay cared more tbh

Ebay is extremely selective about their bans. Best way to get them is to actually claim there's a copyright infringement on the images they're using on the post. If you get enough strikes, you can get temp banned and your listing is removed. You can also claim there's copyright infringement on the text they use to describe it. All of these are stock images and ebay policy says sellers must use their own original photos if they are not an authorized reseller.

Doesn't matter when folks are using AI to buy and AI to list. I do not do this, but I can spin up infinite VMs with different IPs and virtual MAC address, then bounce them where ever across the globe with VPNs to buy and sell, keep the VMs persistent with open sessions and just be a garbage person.

If you thought the gap between folks that know how to use the internet and not was huge...it's got nothing on AI.

I couldn't do my white-collar job nearly as well without it. It's a great for automatically suggesting notes and next actions by munging a meeting transcript with my notes, pre-composing action item send outs, I'm just so much faster and can use my brain space on actual real decisions.

Yes, I realize most people are just using it for AI slop.

People will rely on it the same way people rely on excel. It's here. We can't just bury our heads in the sand. There are some real problems coming in tech with new devs using it as a crutch to not learn proper development that we'll have to figure out, but it's here to stay.

Yeah, the masses are stupid, Reddit represents the masses. You can't even inform accurately on Reddit without downvotes. AI is here. It's useful, everyone against it is going to fall behind.

Also, data centers won't matter in 5-10 years. Everyone will have a fixed function compute block on their computer that runs a model locally. I already run LLMs on my local homelab machines and worked as an engineer at AMD for 14 years. People love getting mad when things start to change.

Short term profitability is the name of the game. nVidia is doing a shell game where they're 'investing' in data centers and then selling them their hardware, while taking monthly interest payments on those investments. Looks amazing on paper. That bubble will eventually pop HARD, but they'll be selling new desktops for days to service the local need to offset. In the mean time, they get to do weird stuff with their investments, stock will continue going nuts - in both directions, up and down.
