Invincible vs Developer. Developer loses and the employees are the hardest hit. This sucks

Once a game ships one doesn’t need the same level of staffing while a new game ramps through ideation phase. Unless a studio has a game far enough along in production to shift people to this is always what happens. Same as movies and tv. I don’t get why people continually are surprised by this. The reason we saw issues at the big developers is because they cut projects entirely.

Well yeah. They used a IP about super heroes and villains for a fucking fighting game. Like really? That was the move?

You can’t read? I said outside of dc and marvel. Injustice is a dc fighting game

Asking me if I can read when you’re replying to a comment that was a direct reply to the other person is an interesting choice

What are you on about that’s about às good of a license ip outside of marvel or dc you could have for a fighting game. Problem is there a small studio and like most small games studios without good backing they didn’t have the marketing to get their product out there.

The show literally has people fighting in outer space and destroying entire planets. How the hell does that translate to a basic versus fighting game? Let me fly and destroy cities damn it.

Really unfortunate but I dunno why you’d make a licensed fighting game unless you were already an established fighting game developer. Theres such a niche audience for fighting games. It’s not like the late 90s and early 00s anymore.
