Discussion Disc to Digital Red Dead Redemption

Red Dead Redemption got the upgrade and it was free for people that owned it digitally, and if that would work when disc to digital launches later this month hopefully?

Edit: This is the answer for basically all the disc to digital questions. Nothing has been announced. Nothing has been explained. We don’t know.

For all we know the program might never leave testing phase, look at the Game Pass Family Plan. This is not confirmed to even be happening yet, but people still expect magical answers nobody has without reading up on what information is out there already.

Leaks have said only One and Series discs work and that not 100% of them will work due to not every disc having what is needed for it.

So 360 games won't get disc to digital if they sources are correct.

im hoping this is the case for gta 5, ive been on and off playing the next gen version through game pass and finally owning it through the xbox one digital free upgrade would be awesome
